the thing I want to know is, has ryan ross ever smelled formaldehyde? also, does he know that asbestos is odorless? and when would he have smelled formaldehyde? he doesn't seem like the sort to take advanced bio where you do dissections and things.

But, in all seriousness, it's made me pretty curious. I mean, formaldehyde has a Very Distinctive odor, and is Pretty Freaking Toxic, so, you know, not really something you encounter in your day-to-day life, ya know?

Well, the song doesn't explicitly say that there's a smell of formaldehye and aspestos, so it could just, like, be there in the comnposition of the walls. And I am definately no advanced bio student, but I smelled formaldehyde in high school (preserved pig heart, yuck). At my high school, at least, you had to dissect a frog in regular bio (I went to the library and colored in a frog-dissection packet, instead).

I went to a teeny tiny highschool, so we only did dissection in AP Bio. But that could be it!
