Most of the time, I don't feel like I've been in fandom all that long. I mean, I'm only 23 years old for christs sake. But then I think about it, and I have actually been in fandom for nearly 8 years (though I've only had an lj for 3) and wow. That's kind of a lot. I've finally pimped myself into emobandslash, at least a little bit, and I saw this hilarious entry from someone about how she spent the day reading some craptastic awful fic that was like OMG 20 chapters long and was ok with that and isn't that funny? And all I could think about was the 60+ chapter Mathew H. Time epics and the hoursdays of my life that were devoted to consuming those stories and feel old or something. ahhhhhhh popslash. There never was and never will be another fandom quite like you. [snugs]

In other news, stories about boys in eyeliner are good times all around. I'm pleased.

Also, when I stop feeling poor, I think I'm going to have to go back to a paid account, because I hate adds and I need more icons. My life, she is sooooo hard.
