I'm trying to pack my bags for flying home tomorrow for two weeks, and I have realized several things.
1) For someone who claims to not be into wearing 'brand names', I own a lot of band merch. (Damn you, Wentz!)
2) It really is not actually reasonable for me to try and take four different hoodies plus an actual coat for a two week stay, even if it is in Ohio during the winter. I cannot actually wear all of them at once. And I will probably be mostly wearing the coat anyway. Because it will be COLD. (Also, because I should maybe try to dress a little nicely when visiting extended family.)
3) My different hoodies all have very specific functions. The white MCR Black Parade one is my snuggle up and be warm and cozy one. My black Pyknic one is general-purpose/daily wear/'I listen to MUSIC, okay"/concert attending. The black Clan batmond from the summer tour is "I don't feel like looking cute today, I wish I could stay home". The red bartskull one is "I feel like dressing up like an emo fuck today!". The plain white lightweight one is for summer wear or layering, the yellow fleur-de-lis one is for layering or for being "More Fashionable Than Thou", and the black and gray plain ones are for the times that don't fall into any of those categories, or for wearing under the corduroy motorcycle-esque jacket.
... and I still can't take four. *shakes fist at world*
ETA@3:30am - Damn and blast. The red bartskull stays behind. ;_;

What does the Pyknic hoodie look like?

Date: 2007-12-25 02:50 am (UTC)The Pyknic hoodie is here. In black, of course. It has the pattern screen printed on the hood and on the pocket. I love it LOTS! And it was cheaper when I bought it, weirdly enough.
