So I had a good intention somewhere to post about the holidays, and some pictures of snow (short version: they happened, there was snow, it was fucking cold. pressies! /shallow). That ain't happening!

IDK if I've told anyone who does't look at my delicious (which I guess is probably most of you), but I've 100% fallen off the deep end wrt Inception fanfic. GIMME MOAR. Also, talk about the fucking hot porn. Also, talk about Tom Hardy. Jesus, he should not be attractive to me. AT ALL. Things I don't Tend To Go For in a Dude: the kinda skeezy frat boy look. AND YET. SO INTERESTING AND ATTRACTIVE TO ME. I love reading everyone and their mom's entries to that effect. IT PLEASETH ME.

- If you like either Benedict Cumberbatch, Sherlock BBC, Inception, T-HARD, or any combination of the above, you should watch this interview (which I think is also uploaded in all its glory here), in which T-HARD says nice things about his approach to acting and also how he thinks B. Cumberbatch is the bees knees. ADORBS.

- semi-related but apparently he did a tissue commercial at one point? idek, you guys. I don't cry at stuff much, and maybe it is the stomach bug, but damn. That is apparently going on a new list I now have of things to watch if I want a bit of a cry.

- Speaking of having a bit of a cry, I've also started falling head-first into Tumbr (doitninetimes as per usual, though I have not actually posted anything because I'm still wrapping my head around this whole 'reblogging' concept), and it is an amazing sink of amazingness and wtf. Have an orchestral theme written for Dr. Who. Get all teary, it'll be awesome.

Now, this last one is for all the people who loved Veronica Mars as much as I did and shipped Veronica/Logan as hard as I did. I give you A Strange New Story Every Time by gyzym This is every story I've ever wanted about how they get their shit together and find each other again and are beautiful and snarky and hotter than the sun together. <3 Fuck you, Rob Thomas, for denying me that on my TV.

Okay, but really. Was he actually expecting Duncan to be as compelling as Logan? Because while I get that retreat into numb depression is probably a really common reaction to violence and grief, it makes for much less compelling television than outwardly expressed anger and pain. Plus, the chemistry between Veronica and Logan blew Duncan out of the water. He never had a chance. How was anyone supposed to find a passionate relationship between Veronica and Duncan believable when Logan and Veronica were about to rip off each others cloths any second now?

ps. I know it is theoretically 'romantic' to make relationship decisions for the other person in that relationship without telling them, but it bombed big time, because all we saw was Veronica's grief and confusion at being abruptly cut out of his life, and never saw any actual emotion, pain, or regret about it from Duncan. Also, not actually romantic.

meh. I'm going to curl back up into a ball of miserableness. stomach bug thing = the worst.

lololollll, no! I would usually react that way too, except a) the rabbit hole that is tom hardy and b) I am in That Place where overblown sentimentality = tears instead of laughter.
