Not Dead Yet

I've got roughly five million tabs open, and did not actually managed to sleep a whole lot this weekend, what with traveling back to Ohio to visit a grad program and then being sucked into Family Activities.
My plan is to go to grad school for plant biology/ecology this fall, and I even have an acceptance letter in my hot little hands, but it doesn't stop be from vacillating wildly between 'This is totally do-able' and 'OMGWTF WHY GOD WHY DID I THINK THIS WAS A GOOD IDEA'. I'm still trying to figure it all out, and in the mean time, I seem DETERMINED to give myself a stress-related health/mental breakdown. OMG DO NOT NEED THAT.
It doesn't help that I capital-H-Hate my job right now. It is the most boring thing ever, and I'm really frustrated with the people I work for/with right now and I dropped my ipod on Wednesday last week, and the hard drive bit the dust (I'm 99.9% positive), so I have to figure out how to fix that for the least amount of money possible and until then, I don't have music to blast and overpower any actual higher brain function.
On the flip side, I got to see my family, who I kind of adore more and more as time goes on. My current favorite thing is when me and my mom crack each other up with bad puns and squishing my sister and listening to my dad's long stories about his soccer games and my bro talking about his wacky college hijinks. I also got to go skiing (whoo Indiana skiing!), and it was actually pretty awesome considering how late in the season it is and how it was supposed to rain a whole lot. So really, it's all do-able, just. Stressing. I should stop that.
In fanish news, Pete and Joe did a fantastically adorable thing called something to the effect of "Top 10 Reasons Fall Out Boy Loves Morrissey/the Smiths". For serious, they are the cutest thing ever, as they fanboy Morrissey HARD. I really feel the need to ship those two now. I got it from
fueledbynoodles, but I can UL if anyone wants/needs. Pete is really articulate and cute and Joe is really cute and has intelligent things to say, but is SO INARTICULATE OMG. And them sitting next to each other cracks my shit up, as Joe have very 'boy/male' body language/posture and Pete really really really doesn't.
Um. I probably had other things to say about some of the stuff I managed to read in between Having A Life, but I can't think of it now, and I need to crash so I can go to work tomorrow. LAME.
