I can't imagine why anyone would want to as I hardly ever post actual entries and I never post anything interesting anyway, but this is your heads up.

If anyone links my LJ on FB or Twitter and I find out, you are dead to me.

I reeeeeally don't understand the appeal of linking all those things together. My FB is 90% family stuff, so I don't want them anywhere near my LJ. :/ And I won't even tell my family that I HAVE a twitter. The thought of linking them all makes me vaguely nauseous. :(

Some people use LJ as their actual RL blog and aren't involved with fandom, so they like being able to link their posts to fb and twitter where family and friends can read them.

Lots of sites allow for this already, so I think it's good that LJ implemented it, but they need to have an option to disable it as well.

That'll hide the buttons for you. But not for anyone else. :(((
