I was going to write a big post about computer death, biking, and food. Instead, I have a question. Does anyone know if there is some sort of master post or reclist of fandom!au's? Like, the characters are secretly in fandom with or without canon.

I just read 5U175 by Closer (Suits, fandom!au) and it was one of the few that didn't squick me to high heaven or bore me to death. (The other, for the record, is a WIP Avengers AU.) And now I waaaaant mooooore.

I found the Fanlore page about fandom au's, and there is a list, but I thought there were more of them.

Interesting to hear! I was thinking last night if I could compare them, but trying to think of characteristics that defined either was completely beyond me. When reading for pleasure, I tend to be an immerseive reader, and pay no attention to the details or specifics of anything, and instead get as deep into the story as I can get. That makes it REALLY hard for me to do analysis like that.

Admittedly, I could be eating my words if it does turn out to be Sam! ;) On a first read, I don't really peg to those things, but I've re-read both of them a lot, which gives a bit of perspective.
