So...

Grey's Anatomy

1) Izzy is a dumbass. I don't care what her reasons were. I don't care how much she loved him. She did a really fucking dumb thing. OMGSODUMB. I lost most of my like for her.

2) I really like the vet. I like him whole bunches. He's a really really good person. He does the best he can with what he's got. He's a bit broken and not afraid to admit it. I like him.

3) Derek has become Completely Irredeemable in my eyes. OMG. You made your bed, now lie in it, fucker.

4) I like Addison, even if she does have the bad taste to be in love with Derek. She deserves SO MUCH BETTER. She should totally run away with Mark or whoever and not look back. TIMES A MILLION. Derek is so worthless in my eyes right now.

5) If Meredith chooses Derek, I'm going to want to kick her in the face So Bad. Whatever feelings she has for Derek, he is completely undeserving of them. She's made some pretty bad choices, but I really totally and completely blame Derek for the entire situation and think that she needs to not see him for a couple years and go be happy with the vet.

5.5) Derek sucks. He gets absolutely NO POINTS EVER. Blacklisted for all eternity. Fuckhead.

6) I really like Alex. He's a total asshole, and a jerk, and all kinds of other bad things, but he is also the one who behaves the most consistently and he is the only one who sticks to his moral code. I can respect that. Also, he's really a lot in love with Izzy, and I'm a sucker for unrequited love. And that last bit where he got her off the bed and held her while she cried really melted me a lot. So I like Alex, asshole though he may be.

7) I really want to like Callie (or however you spell that). To start out, I really really did like Callie. But then she was all clingy and teen-aged girl about herself, and I liked her a bit less. But the final scene between her and George made me all squishy inside and I'm rooting for them so hard it hurts. Because Callie is a bit damaged and whatnot, but she isn't fatally flawed, and I like that in George's girl.

8) George. I like George. I think he's the only character I've consistently liked all the time. George is a really good guy. I like his attitude toward family. I like him trying really hard with Callie. I like him. And I like how he was honest enough to say "I'm not in love with you yet"

9) I like Cristina. Not as much as George, but I like her a lot. She reminds me a lot of me, back in the day when school was the most important thing out there. And I felt really really sorry for her during these final episodes, because she got thrown a whole bunch of things that she really doesn't know how to deal with, mostly dealing with her commitment issues and Burke, and she did the best she could while nearly drowning in her issues. And in the end, she overcame her issues enough to go to Burke, and I admire that.

10) Also, I laughed at pretty much all the most inappropriate moments. It was fun. And I really loved the Chief being thrown, especially by Meredith and her confrontation of him and his role in her family's breakup. I'm glad she said something. Actually, pretty much ALL the interviews with the Chief were awesome.

11) The love-triangle cliff hanger is lame. If Meredith picks McAssFace, I totally disown her. Though probably not the show, as I still like enough of the characters besides her to watch. But the thing is, I can forgive her earlier stupidity in getting involved with McAssFace earlier, but getting involved with him again? Really Fucking Dumb. Almost as dumb as Izzy's stunt with the heart-thingie-wires.

Veronica Mars

1) OMGWTF. That final episode moved So Freaking Fast.Seriously, I think they needed at least one, if not 2 or 3 more episodes to pull everything together.

2) I'm not going to lie, I'm having a pretty hard time swallowing Cassidy as the mastermind behind everything. I really would have liked at least another episode and some build up. And, like, a WHOLE lot more of Cassidy-could-be-a-cold-blooded-mas-murder in addition to the Cassidy-was-molested-and-neglected-by-his-family-and-is-waaay-fucked-up that we did get. But even then... Yeah, Cassidy was not a well-set-up villain. I want the next season to clear him or something. I don't know.

3) I am So Freaking Amused by Duncan calling a hit on Aaron Echolls from Australia while he builds sand castles for a baby who is too young to care about sand castles. Also, I'm deeeeply amused that his father's company's head of security moonlights as an assassin. Again with the WTF.

4) I'm glad Aaron confessed outright in the elevator. Even with all the evidence and whatnot, I was still waiting for another loop to be thrown. It's happened too often that Veronica ends up barking up the totally wrong tree, so there was always that little bit of doubt.

5) OMG those people who called the Cassidy-was-molested thing were So Freaking Right. I'm super-impressed with the writers of the show for being kind of subtle about it. I thought that part of his character-building was well done. Everything else, not so much, but I will give them that part of the equation.

6) We never did hear what was up with the rat. Did Cassidy put it there? Or maybe I just missed something during the season.

7) I'm kind of a lot amused by the whole disconnect between Veronica's day-to-day life and her high school life. Like, they have nothing to do with each other. I was also pretty amused by the dream where Lilly wasn't killed and she was still buddybuddy with Duncan and Logan. And I like how Lilly was still all giantly slutty and and wild child about herself. And I was interested to note that she and Logan were together in that universe, which I thought was a bit odd, especially when the writers were trying to sell us on Veronica+Duncan=MFEO earlier in the season. But cool, because Veronica/Logan is my OTP for all time for this show.

8) My little OTP heart just BURST with the Logan/Veronica love. I made grabby hands at the screen for the last bit of the show. THEY ARE SO MFEO!!!

9) The Sheriff is an ass. I totally get that he's objectively hot, but mostly he's a totally and complete ass, so I can't really find him all that hot. Especially when he arrested Weevil DURING graduation (and Weevil was pretty frickin' awesome during that scene, I might add). Too bad he got himself blown up. If he did indeed get himself blown up.

10) Speaking of Weevil, how Completely Adorable was it when Mac taught him MATH! She is so SMART!! And he's so cute!!! MATH!!! I may have a new OTP.

11) Speaking of Mac, I can't believe Cassidy took all her shit and left while she was in the shower. I'm glad Veronica found her. And I hope she is alright. [pets Mac] Did they end up having sex, or did Cassidy never get it up?

12) Speaking of sex, I'm going to have to go back and watch the resolution to Season 1, because I thought we had established that Veronica and Duncan had sex the night of the party when she was drugged? How does this match up with the part where Cassidy gave her Chlamydia? Did Cassidy do her, leave, and then Duncan showed up and did her too? Because that's fucked up.

13) And speaking of loose ends, wow were there a lot of them hanging around this season. What was up with Veronica's medal during graduation? Did she end up Valedictorian, despite walking out on a final? Did she end up Salutatorian or whatever it's called when you come in second? Did she get the Kane scholarship or not? I'm kind of surprised they didn't touch on that one at all as it played a not-minor role in the season. And what about Logan's reaction to his father's death? We never saw how that was discovered/came out?

14)And we never did figure out what was up with Kendall and the Fitzpatricks. The more I think about it, the more firmly I am in the camp that says they changed the villain late in the game and thus didn't have the proper setup for everything.

15) The cliff-hanger was more like a small hill that gently slopes down to a shallow pond full of goldfish, but I think it will make an interesting beginning for next season. I really really like how the writers of VM don't feel the need to leave you hanging on the edge of your seat, because that sucks. But it is ... interesting, so I'm happy.

ETA: And a couple more things.

16) What was Kendall doing with Logan (other than obviously sexing him up?) What was her deal with Aaron? Does she get off on fucking celebrities? Does Aaron get off on fucking girls who have been fucked by his son? Was Aaron paying her? Why was Kendall tweezing hair out of Logan's drain in all the 'previously on Veronica Mars' sequences?

And I can't wait to see what happens with House. I like House.

The Aind.
