drunkoffthestarsI'm currently MAJORLYSUPERDUPEREXTRA obsessed with podslash. A couple months ago, my job changed from a situation where I was working in a big room with a bunch of other people to me being stuck in this little out-of-the-way room all by myself all day, so having my shinyshiny ipod has really saved my sanity. rageprufrock posted podcasts of two of her stories and I was instantly obsessed. Because there is only so much music you can listen to for so long before you need a change of pace.
Tonight, I've had fun raiding the back-entries of![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
sgapodfic, so I've got LOTS of things to listen to for tomorrow.
I have this janktastic microphone, so tonight I played around with recording bits of one of my favorite fics. I have discovered that a) I'm really bad at reading aloud, b) it's lots of fun anyway, c) I'm a perfectionist, and d) that all of my most favorite fics are Really Really Long, so if I were to take up podcasting fic, it would take fucking forever and five days. I might go ahead and do it anyway. Because the amount of awesome it would be to be able to listen to Conflicts of Interest while plating cells at work is ENORMOUS.
