drunkoffthestarsTo counteract the BLEH of today (I loaded my flist after work and found out that some people's apartment building caught fire and that Fall Out Boy was moving back tour dates for 'personal reasons' and OMG who is having a nervous breakdown?!?), I went media-watching on youtube. And this is what I found! Why have I not seen this stuff before?!?!?!
The Beginning of Fall Out Boy. Ripped from something? Anyway, includes LOTS of baby!FOB performance clips, and Patrick and eeeee! Like. So much eeeeeeeeee!
Rock Star Guide To Fall Out Boy on Fuse part 1 . part 2 . part 3. This is the one where we get a COMPLETE TOUR of Pete's parent's house (did I get my apostrophes right? I don't think so), including the PILES of his crap that are littering the house, the window he used to sneak in, and his bedroom with the set of twin beds. OMG. But it gets better! Andy shows up and (kinda) talks! Then Patrick and Pete's Mom show up with the groceries! Patrick is carrying the groceries! Pete carries groceries! Pete's mom loves FOB music! OMG! And then we get to see the Hush Sound do a quick number backstage and Patrick is REALLY INTO IT! (In my head, Pete runs all the bands he signs past Patrick before he tells anyone else! Because they're beffies! And Patrick knows things about music!) And then they make Patrick play acoustic and Pete talks and everyone loves them THE AIND. But the point is, you should RUN, not walk, and watch. Because this is important.

You have to sign up for some sort of Island email list, but its so worth it for the 20-min Pete and Patrick interview that's up on the website. Much adorable Pete and Patrick interaction, including Patrick talking about a human-skin suit and Pete talking about him and Patrick giving each other handjobs.
