every time I read an LJ news post, it makes me feel angry and disgusted and makes me want to send everything over to dreamwidth. i probs won't, but still. urgh.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to as I hardly ever post actual entries and I never post anything interesting anyway, but this is your heads up.

If anyone links my LJ on FB or Twitter and I find out, you are dead to me.

I am in the process of putting together a ALL LADIES ALL THE TIME playlist out of all the music in my itunes. Suggestions of your favorite lady artists more than welcome! The Rule That Governs Playlist Inclusion mandates that a lady has to be doing the singing. In the case of instrumental tracks, the lady has to be doing the playing. In the case of Classical tracks, the lady has to be the primary soloist or the composer. I was listening to a bunch of new stuff from my recent music-binge, and I realized that most of it is dudes doing some music-making, and I am pretty into it when ladies make music too.

This playlist can only end in hilarity as my iTunes library includes Avril Lavigne, Brittney Spears, The Hush Sound, Dolly Parton, Le Tigre, and Hillary Hahn! Also, a lot of dudes who sound like ladies, so finding out who is actually doing the singing will be EXCITING!

I am being a lame-o and staying in tonight, because the show I was going to go see sold out and it is cold and I am tired and have only been sleeping about 5 hours every night this week. FAIL, self.

What with everything ever in the universe sucking, my only joy has been re-reading old favorite stories, and then through the magic of copy-and-paste, a word processor that can save HTML files, and Calibre's format conversion, turning them into epub format ebooks for easy loading on my ipod touch that runs the Stanza ebook reader. The only fly in my ointment is that most fic don't have artwork or covers, so it makes my library a bit sad, but I imagine that the power of the google image search can help me out on that one. In my most ideal world, archives would automatically generate ebooks of fic uploaded (with permission from authors, of course) and then it would be the simplest thing ever to TAKE IT WITH ME OMG.

And now I will never lose that Moast Favorite Fic ever again \o/

i am working on this project of Extreme Annoyance in my "FREE TIME" (note extreme sarcasm as denoted by the use of ALL CAPS combined with the full quotes). in light of this, i would like to procrastinate by tell you all about how my life is hard when people write really long stories with multiple parts on separate pages/entries, and include no master-list/header of links/etc. it makes it really hard to open the whole thing/download all the parts and load them on my itouch (yes, still sounds dirty) for offline reading. there is nothing more frustrating than going to read a story i have open in a tab while away from the internet and then finding out it is 1/X.
